Selling Subscriptions
Event Details:
Our inaugural speaker was Neale Mahoney, Professor of Economics at Stanford University and former Special Policy Advisor for Economic Policy at the White House National Economic Council, who presented his new work: "Selling Subscriptions." This research delves into the economics behind subscription-based goods and services and offers many insights into the financial choices made by individuals.
The Financial Literacy Colloquia series aims to bring together individuals on campus engaged in research and programs related to financial literacy, personal finance, household finance, financial wellness, and related topics. The objective is to present research and ongoing work and discuss the main findings and their implications, including how they can be used to teach personal finance or inform policy and programs.
