Charles R. Schwab Professor of Economics

John B. Shoven is the Charles Schwab Professor of Economics Emeritus at Stanford University. He directed SIEPR for 20 years and also served as the Chairman of the Stanford Economics Department and the Dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences. He taught a finance course to undergraduates for many years and is currently teaching a personal finance course jointly with Michael Boskin.
