Mahnaz Mahdavi

Mahnaz Mahdavi is Professor of Economics and currently serves as chair of the Economics Department, Faculty Director of the Global Finance Concentration, 2012-22, and Financial Literacy Faculty Advisor, at Smith College. She is the Founding Director of the Center for Women and Financial Independence, 2001-2017. She designed financial literacy courses and workshops for undergraduate women.
